Vehicle will be unveiled for the first time to Recipient on May 13, at 1^st Choice Collision’s Cypress location

(Cypress, TX)  5/12/2025 – On Tuesday May 13, a deserving Cypress mother will experience a life-changing event –

the presentation of a vehicle to provide them independence and the ability to work and take care of her

family – thanks to local body shop 1^st Choice Collision, member of the Open Road Collision network, and car donor Geico Insurance, along with the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides program. The Recycled Rides program pairs Insurance companies who provide a totaled vehicle, and local body shops who repair the vehicle to present to a worthy recipient.

Stacy is a single mother of three children. She has overcome significant challenges related to homelessness and abuse, showing extraordinary resilience and determination. Currently employed at a local community college, Stacy works hard to provide stability for her family. However, without a vehicle, daily tasks like commuting to work, running errands, and transporting her children to school are significant hurdles, often resulting in lost time and added stress. All 3 of her children are active and are in constant need of transportation to various functions related to school, extracurriculars, etc.

Receiving this vehicle will make a profound difference in Stacy’s life. It will enable her to attend parent-teacher conferences, ensure her children can participate fully in school activities, and give her the flexibility to better meet her family’s needs. For Stacy, a car is not just a means of transportation, but a lifeline, an essential step toward a brighter, more secure future for her and her children.
